Yield
Co-curated with Timo Rissanen, YIELD (2011) brought together fourteen international designers working with zero waste practice for an exhibition at The Dowse Art Museum, Wellington, and the Textile Arts Center, Brooklyn, New York. The exhibition and accompanying catalogue made a case for zero waste fashion design as a serious and generative design approach rather than a constraint — demonstrating the breadth of thinking possible when waste elimination becomes a creative starting point rather than an afterthought.
