Animated Textile-form

An extension of the woven textile-form work into time — asking how textile-forms can be designed to shift, respond, and adapt across fabrication and use. Projects in this thread include heat-reactive woven trousers that users can mould to their own body with a hairdryer, wool-based textile-forms that exploit the variable shape-change potential of natural fibre across different weave structures, and knitted zero waste forms whose stitch recipe encodes multiple fit possibilities without changing the pattern.
